Executive Director

Christina was born and raised in upstate New York, and moved to Colorado in 1997. A graduate of CU Boulder and the College of Santa Fe, she has continuously focused her professional career around developing adult and young learners.

 

Christina has worked in education for over 16 years, starting her career as an elementary music teacher in New Mexico and has most recently spent several years working with struggling schools and districts around the country in school turnaround work. She was previously the Superintendent of Moffat Consolidated School District #2 in Saguache County. 

 

Christina has a passion for social emotional and behavioral education, and is dedicated to empowering students to have the tools and resources they need to be resilient and successful.

 

Christina’s leadership skills, experience in education and the arts, and her uncompromising commitment to improving the quality of life for children and adults makes her a unique addition to the RMYP’s board.
