About Me

Kevin was born in Salida, CO and has lived in Colorado for most of his life. He grew up in a very small and tight knit community where he worked alongside his dad raising their own livestock and working with horses. He was taught that hard work, patience, and teamwork are the only way to go about life.

 

Kevin was selected to attend the JKB leadership program in 1997, when he was a sophomore in high school. The program impacted him throughout his careers and choices and would like to share that knowledge with our youth. Throughout his younger life Kevin worked for Boyce Land and Cattle assisting in all aspects of farming and ranching.

 

He helped with everything from building fence to working cattle to running heavy equipment. The farming and ranching way of life was calling Kevin and his family back to the San Luis Valley where his parents currently reside. Kevin is a great fit in RMYP because of his background, experience, kind nature and he leads by example.
